Inspired by the Lewis Carrol poem, which tells of the Walrus and the Carpenter going to the oyster beds and tricking the younger Oysters into leaving the safety of those beds and then eating them, albeit, with a tear in the eye.
Every weekend from a carpentry workshop in Ropewalk, we sell a variety
of the finest Oysters that the British coast line has to offer. Our homage
needs no deceit, nor tearful eyes except perhaps of joy.
However we are so much more than an Oyster Bar. Fresh Crab and Lobster arrives direct from day boats in Mudeford, Dorset. The smoked Salmon is unique to a handful of outlets. Eggs are biodynamic.

To compliment all of this a predominantly French boutique wine list, long on bubbles with cocktails, digestives and craft beer rounding things off.
